Amanda Garcia, LCSW

Amanda Garcia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, and has over 12 years of experience in various social work realms. A majority of Amanda’s social work career has been in the child welfare sector; working with children, youth, and families to ensure child safety, permanency, and well-being. Amanda has had opportunities to train new child welfare staff, as well as review, analyze, and train to County child welfare policies.

Amanda also has experience in working in school settings and in the medical social work field. Working with different populations across Southern California has given Amanda the experience and ability to provide culturally sensitive and equitable services to those she encounters. Amanda incorporates a client centered and solution focused approach in her work to ensure each person’s voice is heard, and makes efforts to advocate for those in need of support.
